Geomagnetic Positioning¶

Geomagnetic positioning is done using gyroscope and magnetometer sensors on the mobile devices. Pulse SDK supports the position provided using this method and can trigger campaigns based on indoor position.

This technology requires specific setup and on-site survey to work properly
Due to the use of multiple sensors and frequent sampling, it consumes more battery in comparison to using geofencing or beacons
This technology is useful for indoor use, when the app is being used by the user
