Add beacon

The Pulse SDK allows you to dynamically use all Beacon configuration data within Campaigns as Data Macros. With macros you can geo-personalize notification copy with Beacon and Location data from hundreds of Beacons in a single Campaign.

Beacon Setting Description
UUID identifier for the Beacon. This is usually unique to a Beacon fleet
Major ID is user defined identifier at the highest level. For e.g. a user working with multiple Beacons, can give all Beacons deployed on the first floor Major ID 1
Minor ID is user defined identifier at the lowest level. For e.g. a user might use it to differentiate between the Beacons deployed on the first floor

Catalyst requires specific Beacon hardware configuration information to detect Beacons and serve a Campaign.

Beacon Configuration

The combination of UUID, Major ID and Minor ID is recommended to be unique. This will help you identify and target each beacon in a Campaign.
